Spring is very beautiful at Avalon with the hillsides turning green and the abundant dogwoods and wild flowers bursting in bloom. In early spring when the weather is still cool, the indoor pool continues to offer a bit of the islands atmosphere; a place to play and relax in comfort. In late spring our outdoor heated pool provides fun and sun and relaxing. The woods, meadows, and trails offer opportunities to get close to nature and observe the awakening of springtime. Hiking trails, fishing, and early season camping also make springtime a great time to visit Avalon. Enjoy the beauty as the glorious West Virginia mountains come alive in the spring at Avalon.
